Step 1: Apply Gua Sha oil
- Apply a small amount of Ramedica’s Gua Sha Oil to the area you plan to treat. This will ensure smooth movements of the guasha tool and prevent skin irritation.
- Gently massage the oil into your skin.
Step 2: Hold the Guasha Tool
- Hold the Gua Sha tool at a 15–30° degree angle to your skin.
- Apply gentle pressure—use more pressure for deeper muscle layers, and less pressure for sensitive or tender areas.
Step 3: Begin Scraping
- Start scraping from the base of the painful area and move toward the heart (e.g., from the neck toward the shoulders or from the lower back upward).
- Use long, firm strokes. Apply steady pressure as you scrape the tool over your skin. Slight redness of the skin may appear – this is a good sign.
- Repeat each stroke 5-10 times, depending on your comfort level.
Step 4: Post-Treatment Care
- After your guasha session, rest and avoid strenuous activities for a few hours to allow the body to recover.
- Remove excess oil with our premium Microfibre Towel.
Safety Tips:
- Do not use Gua Sha on broken skin, bruises, or areas with inflammation.
